Dieser Handheld-Gaming-PC ist mit einem leistungsstarken AMD Ryzen 7 6800U-Prozessor mit acht Kernen und sechzehn Threads ausgestattet, der zwischen einem konfigurierbaren 15W-28W TDP bis zu 4,7GHz erreichen kann. Die AMD Radeon 680M liefert eine Leistung von bis zu 2,2 GHz und sorgt für eine flüssige Darstellung auf dem 10,1-Zoll-Touchscreen-Display IPS.

Powerhouse of Productivity and Play

I originally came to GPD after using the Steam Deck for about a year. The Steam Deck is a great device, but it always felt cumbersome to use it for anything other than gaming. The GPD Win Max 2 fills this niche well: it has a small but very usable keyboard that, unlike other devices in its form factor, doesn't mess too much with the positioning of keys important to programmers like braces and semicolons. It runs Linux very well. The TPU can be lowered to the point where the battery life is obsene, which is great for long remote coding sessions.

I've purchased the Win Max 2 2022 (Ryzen 6800u 32gb) and the Win Max 2 2024 (Ryzen 8840u, 64gb) and they are both excellent machines. I passed my Steam Deck to my partner when I got the GPD WM2 2022, but the Steam Deck stopped working so I replaced my WM2 with the newest model and passed the 2022 one to her. She loves it, and now we're tiny cyberdeck buddies. Thanks GPD!

Impressive but Imperfect

The hidden gaming controls bring great versatility. While it's a bit heavier than some, it’s still portable, and the fan noise is a minor issue. Though on the pricey side, it's definitely worth it for such a powerful all-in-one device.

Great for Both Work and Fun

I love the versatility, but it's a bit bulky for truly portable gaming. The cooling system works well, but it can get noisy. The price is steep, but justified given the specs. I'd love to see a slimmer version in the future, even if it means slightly reduced performance.

Powerhouse in Your Hands

I'm really wowed by the 10.1" touchscreen and the cool hidden game buttons. But, the battery doesn't last that long, and it's kinda heavy if you hold it too long. It's great for games and getting stuff done while you're out, but the price is kinda high for some people

Almost Replaced My Gaming PC

It plays most games really well, and the size is perfect for my commute. The build is solid, and I like how you can hide the controls. But the battery isn't great for gaming, and it’s pricey. Still, if you need a strong, portable device, it's worth a look.

Unique Product, Executed Nicely

This thing is great for work and games. The keyboard’s comfy, and the hidden game buttons are cool. It runs everything from Office to big games no problem. The 10.1" screen is just right for carrying around. Only downside: the battery dies fast when gaming hard.

The build is super solid, and the keyboard's shockingly good for how small it is. It’s not for everyone, though — it's kinda big and expensive, so more of a fancy tool than something for everyone. The battery could last longer, but hey, you get a lot of power for it

Honest review

First things first, i love the GPD WINAX 2. I know this company since the first GPD handheld which was an android based emulation device, loved it!
Once i received the win max 2 i had a little bit of trouble with the stability of the system, experiencing random crashes when i let the device idle but now when i was gaming, weird i know. Their support team was more than helpful and patient in offering real solutions such as changing certain settings in the BIOS and so. After some tweaking by both, their team and yours truly i was able to get stability in the device, and honestly i can't be more happy with it.
The Win Max 2 is a little beast, handling heavy games such as Elden Ring without breaking a sweat, my ROG Zephyrus and Lenovo Legion make much more noise and get hotter than this baby.
If you decide to get it, you may need to do some firmware and software tuning but if you are patient and willing, you will end up with a great device, also don't be afraid of reaching out to their support team, they are very helpful!

Will you be getting any 64GB versions of the 2024 GPD Win Max 2 back in stock? I noticed it wasn’t even listed as a “sold out” option in the configuration selector so I wondered if that variation is no longer even an option going forward.
